Presentation skills for business

Being able to present well is a core skill, taking you from one-to-one meetings to presenting to large groups, through networking and marketing presentations. This course for small groups will help individuals to give presentations successfully with impact.

Who should attend?

By attending this course, you will: 

  • analyse when you present now and gain an appreciation of how you can extend your range
  • get a simple structure for all presentations, based around six key questions
  • learn how influencing skills used in selling can help you deliver a more impactful presentation
  • practise and get DVD feedback in a supportive setting

Content

This course will cover:
  • introductions and benchmarking exercise 
  • reviewing where you currently present and acknowledging when you avoid presenting
  • preparing to present: the six key questions system 
  • handling questions: some practice techniques to deal with questions during and after your presentation
  • dealing with nerves: some psychological interventions to help you manage “stage fright”
  • a practice session with DVD, feedback and replay
