Anyone who manages others at work, whatever the size of their organisation. This workshop is for beginners through to the more experienced seeking some refresher training of their management skills.

  • what management is and why it is important
  • the “models” of management – what fits the culture at your organisation.  Does there need to be any change? 
  • your personal management style – how it works, and where it doesn’t work 
  • management tools and techniques – a practical guide to up-to-date methods of managing people 
  • setting personal objectives 


Emma Rush, who has not only trained in this area for over twelve years, but has also managed teams herself.  She has covered much recent management theory, and she is also interested in employee engagement and its power to help businesses to attain maximum profitability.
