Anyone who wants to create or maintain a LinkedIn profile and who wants to benefit from social networking for work purposes


By attending this course you will:
  • learn how important online networking is now; get a practical guide to setting yourself up on LinkedIn, with an interactive resource provided after the course giving you step by step guidance
  • create an action plan for maintaining your social networking presence


This course will cover:
  • the importance of social networking and “You 2.0”
  • creating your profile and editing it for maximum impact including Search Engine Optimisation
  • top tips on writing your headline
  • creating a history of your past work experience
  • adding contacts and the three degrees of separation
  • using aspects of LinkedIn to network and demonstrate expertise
  • joining groups


Emma Rush who has worked with a number of people to help them write their profiles and update their online image.  She has worked with LinkedIn for some time and shares her experience in a practice workshop for everyone starting out in this area.
