    • Planning and structuring: getting to the point and ordering information logically
    • Using the Wh– and How questions to help structure and ensure completeness
    • Keeping it short and simple: learning and adopting several style techniques
    • Adjusting tone for your readers
    • Punctuating accurately
    • Avoiding common grammar errors and using spelling tips
    • Editing and proofreading 

What exercises will you do?

You will complete exercises throughout, to draw out best-practice guidelines, and to practise writing with the benefit of trainer monitoring and group feedback. Our context will be letter, emails and report extracts.

Online method

Zoom (preferred) or similar platform
Work in pairs, threes, group and alone
Breakout rooms: screen sharing and joint work on documents, plus trainer review and help with drafting
Homework between sessions
